AGE DIVISIONS

Red Hot Flames follow the age grid set out by SportCheer England. This allows us to split our dancers into the following age divisions:

Tiny: Age 6 and under (age as of August 31st at the start of the season)
Mini: Age 9 and under (age as of August 31st at the start of the season)
Youth: Age 12 and under (age as of August 31st at the start of the season)
Junior: Age 15 and under (age as of August 31st at the start of the season)
Senior/International Open: Age 15+ (age as of August 31st at the start of the season)

OUR TEAMS

Due to the competitive nature of our sport and our ever-growing number of dancers, we choose to further split our teams based on ability. This is so that all dancers can be in a team that will allow them to learn, progress and perform in a safe, encouraging and enjoyable way. All teams have the opportunity to compete and team placements are re-assessed every year. We currently run three ability levels: Prep, Intermediate and Allstar.

We currently have four travel teams who will compete internationally during the 23/24season:
Wildfire Youth Pom : The Dance Summit 2024
Ignite (U16 Junior Pom): The Dance Summits 2024
Energise Senior Pom: The Dance Summits 2024/25

We also have our Worlds team who won a bid to represent RHF and England at The Dance Worlds 2024

JAZZ

CHEER

We also offer jazz classes at Red Hot Flames. Jazz was introduced to RHF in 2022 and the dancers are loving learning a brand new style that showcases skills, creativity and sass!

Dynamites- Wednesdays - 7.30 - 8.30pm

We also offer cheerleading classes which involve stunting, tumbling, jumps and dance. Our cheer teams work really hard under the direction of their cheer and gymnastics coach to use teamwork and technique to ensure they are stunting safely and tumbling correctly. 

Tornado - ​Thursdays - 5.30 - 6.30pm
